Self Containment

My blood is coursing through my veins
While I'm trying to just keep myself tame

The knives are in the dish rack
Waiting to be dried
I'm zoning out
Thinking of how sharp they are
Thinking what damage
They are capable of
My mind is racing
I'm uncomfortable
I cannot dry them
Feeling so disappointed
In what? Myself
Couldn't even dry a few
Knives

I refuse to ever go insane
